Position： R&D Senior Mechanical Engineer   
Job Description
 *   Research and development of mechanical systems for large format inkjet pr
inters.
*   Design, analysis, calculation, debugging, prototype builds, scheduling and
 planning, cost tracking and documentation of printer parts and systems.
*   Participate in the process of establishing design goals and objectives for
 the project. Understand customer needs and refine customer specifications. 
*   Identify and resolve cross-functional and cross-discipline issues. Worst-c
ase and characterize the designs.
*   Work closely with Manufacturing and R&D management to define prototype bui
ld strategy. Lead the execution of the builds. Lead issue resolution 
 *   Release part designs for tooling. Ensure manufacturability of the parts b
y conducting HP processes with the manufacturing and procurement. Provide 3D a
nd 2D documentation.
*    Define and execute tests to prove part/system performance. Address defect
s and finalize designs. Verify that your system meets all performance and reli
ability goals. 
*   Contribute in the creation of tools and processes that result in organizat
ional efficiency. 

Qualifications 
Master's (graduate) degree or  Ph.D. (post graduate) degree   in Mechanical En
gineering or equivalent.
Musts:
*   Have knowledge and/or experience in structure, mechanism and fluid system 
design, using simulation tools like FEA, theoretical and empirical approaches,
 etc.
*   Have knowledge and/or experience in high precision mechanisms and structur
es.
*   Have demonstrated aptitude for mechanical design and fundamentals, have ha
nds-on working style.
*   Have demonstrated ability to verify performance through empirical testing 
as well as analytical models.  Strong  problem solving skills.
*   Ability to conceptualize, implement and validate a system level design and
 solution.
*   Have knowledge and/or experience in thermoplastic injection molding tool a
nd part design
*   Have knowledge and/or experience in sheet metal part design.
*   Strong verbal and written communication and collaborating skill in English
 and Mandarin.
