Philips Research East Asia:  Intern Recruitment - Assistant Researcher in Wireless Baseband Processing 
General Description:
     The era of the 3rd wireless communications (3G) have been coming into our lives. Three dominating international  3G standards include:  WCDMA from Europe, CDMA2000 from North America, and TD-SCDMA from China. In China, the domestically rooted TD-SCDMA receives particular concerns, and is likely to be launched in very near future. It is belived that China’s TD-SCDMA industial will bring a large opportunity to not only Chinese telecommunication itself but also telecommunication equipment manufactor manufacturers all over the world.
PREA, as a part of Philips Research located in China, also pay attention on TD-SCDMA. We are eager to contribute into and grow up with the development of China’s TD-SCDMA industrial. 

Key Areas of Responsibility: 
* Research and verification of TD-SCDMA baseband alghorithms;
* Exploration of new technical solutions onTD-SCDMA baseband algorithms;
* Taking part in technical discussions of project. 

Job Requirements: 

* Students pursuing a Ms in Electronic Engineering or related fields; PhD is preferred;
* Experienced in telecommunication simulation using  Matlab m language;
* Good knowledge of Wireless Communications;  having particular knowledge in CDMA， Multi-user detection and Channel estimation areas is perfered. 
* Being familiar with TD-SCDMA L1 specifications is prefered
* Being familiar with adaptive filtering algorithms (e.g. LMS, RLS, etc) is prefered
* At least four full days in lab per week;
* Hard working, good problem-solving ability.

1. TD-SCDMA基带算法研究与验证；
2. TD-SCDMA基带算法有关新技术解决方案的提出；
3. 参与项目组必要的技术讨论。

背景要求：
1. 通信专业硕士研究生, 博士优先，具有良好的无线通信基础知识；具有CDMA、多用户检测或信道估计知识背景的优先考虑；
2. 熟练掌握Matlab .m语言编程技巧；有通信仿真经验的优先考虑；
3. 熟悉自适应滤波算法(如LMS, RLS等)的优先考虑；
4. 熟悉TD-SCDMA 无线通信系统物理层协议。

其他要求：
1. 每周一到周五至少四个全天在本实验室工作；
